Essence is an ex-pony express rider!  In her travels, she came across all kinds of confrontation. This problem-solving horse was dying of thirst, she made a quick stop in Hillspring, Alberta. Essence ran into Shire,  seventeen hands, the roughest, toughest horse in all the land. Shire had heard about Essence and met her at the watering hole. Shire wanted to have a show down but Essence quickly read the situation and offered Shire a new perspective.  The show down became a slowdown.
